10 Years of Excellence: NIMA’s Journey Towards Global Leadership in the MICE Industry

Another milestone for NIMA (Network of Indian MICE Agents), completing it’s landmark 10th anniversary, on 25th May 2024. NIMA being a true representative of serious MICE operators of India. NIMA has been a perfect example of an idea, which germinated and nurtured under the able leadership of its founding team of Mr Gajesh Giridhar, Mr. Rakesh Arora, Mr Vikas Khanduri (Advisor) & Mr Gurmeet Singh Chhatwal. NIMA’s National Executive Committee comprising of active MICE Operators and SMEs from Metropolitans cities Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata to B & C Cities like Hyderabad, Bangalore & Bhubaneshwar and even smaller cities like Yamuna Nagar (Haryana) to Tirupathi, to have the perspective from across India, one of the Quique composition of any travel association. NIMA has achieved umpteen accolades and significant milestones over the last decade which has been first of a kind for an Indian Travel Association.

Delivering commitments since last 10 years:

Free of cost membership for MICE players for the last decade, which would continue for the years to come.
Empowering the MICE players, well established or aspiring, with the knowledge and resources to grow their business and take it to the next level.
Providing a symbiotic environment, especially, for smaller players to Learn, Earn & Grow with the unconditional support from their fellow NIMAites.
MOUs and strategic partnerships with the various Universities, Colleges, and other educational institutions to fulfil NIMA’s commitment to “Give Back to Society, in form of mentorship & guidance to the students and budding entrepreneurs, in addition to the training and employment opportunity through its able pool of NIMAites, across the country.
NIMA Connect is another initiative where it is bringing young entrepreneurs & students for direct interaction with the Tourism Boards (both National & International), Key industry partners like VFS and allied professionals (Tax & Finance), to broaden their perspective beyond transactional.
NIMA has been organizing various events / conferences for its members, to address the contemporary industry issues like GST, TCS and others.
NIMA provides its members with strategic platforms to address their various queries, connecting with the principal partners and even the last minute SOS, to facilitate the smooth operations of their business on a day to day basis.
International collaboration with the tourism boards of Catalonia, Jordan, Cyprus, Taiwan. Kissimmee, Nepal, Singapore & Moscow, to name a few.
MOU / Partnership signed with the Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau and Selangor Tourism, Malaysia.
