ETAA South Chapter had conducted a Destination Knowledge Program -Sikkim & Darjeeling

ETAA South chapter have seen tremendous requirements for North East sector. As a result 36 ETAA South based agents set off on a Destination Expert program to Sikkim & Darjeeling. Sikkim is also home to glaciers, alpine meadows and thousands of varieties of wildflowers. Steep paths lead to hilltop Buddhist monasteries. Darjeeling, a gorgeous town in India’s West Bengal state, is situated as Himalayan foothills. Darjeeling, Once a summer resort for the British Raj elite, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, or “Toy Train,” completed in 1881. It’s famed for the distinctive black tea grown on plantations that dot its surrounding slopes. Its backdrop is Mt. Kanchenjunga, among the world’s highest peaks.

The Destination Expert program was self-effacingly hosted by Club Mahindra Le Vintuna Gangtok Resort. Mr. Shailesh Kumar, Senior manager Sales- East India took initiative to invite ETAA South chapter to experience the newly started property.
