Governor Punjab condoles demise of Prime Minister’s Mother
The Punjab Governor and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh, Banwarilal Purohit expressed profound grief at the sudden demise of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi’s mother.
In the condolence message, Purohit said “Losing a loved one is extremely painful, but there is nothing as tragic as losing a parent, especially the mother. She stands with her children through all turmoils and happy times. Ever present in our lives, she forever will remain in our memory even when she passes away into the ages”.
He said that the loss of respected Heeraba is irreparable and offered his deepest and heartfelt condolences. He prayed that the Almighty might give Hon’ble Prime Minister and his family the strength to bear the tragic loss.
May God grant eternal peace to the departed soul and may the family find peace comfort and courage in the days to come.
Governor Haryana condoles demise of Prime Minister’s Mother
Hon’ble Governor Bandaru Dattatraya has expressed his deep grief at the passing away of Heeraben Modi ji, a kind-hearted, noble soul and beloved mother of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Expressing his heartfelt condolences and praying for eternal peace to the departed soul, Hon’ble Governor Bandaru Dattatraya said that Heeraben Modi ji was a kind-hearted and noble soul. “The loss of the mother is irreparable and the void created can never be filled,” he added.
Heeraben Modi died at the age of 100. She breathed her last at around 3.30 am in Ahmedabad. She was admitted to UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre in Ahmedabad earlier this week due to health issues.
Quoting Hon’ble PM’s inspiring blog on his mother Heeraben Modi ji, Hon’ble Governor said: “I humbly agree to the words of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji that ‘a mother’s penance creates a good human being. Her affection fills a child with human values and empathy. A mother is not an individual or a personality, motherhood is a quality.’”

In a condolence message, the Chief Minister said that the death of Mrs. Heeraben Modi is a huge loss for the entire nation. He described Mrs. Heeraben Modi as a pious soul committed to the basic human values. Sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the members of the bereaved family, Bhagwant Mann prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to family members to bear this irreparable loss.
