Thailand announces visa-free entry for Indians from Nov 10
Indians can travel to Thailand without a visa from November 10 to May 10, 2024
The Voice of Chandigarh :
Thailand has temporarily waived visa requirements for Indian citizens, allowing them to visit the country visa-free for a period of 30 days. The decision was taken in an effort to boost tourism, as India is one of Thailand’s major tourism sources.
To be eligible for visa-free entry, Indian citizens must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a valid Indian passport
- Have a return ticket or a ticket to onward travel
- Have sufficient funds to support their stay in Thailand
Indian citizens who arrive in Thailand without a visa will be required to present their passport, return or onward ticket, and proof of funds at the port of entry. They will also be required to fill out a visa exemption form.
The visa-free entry waiver is valid for a period of six months, from November 10, 2023 to May 10, 2024. It is important to note that the waiver may be extended or terminated at any time, so it is always best to check with the Thai embassy or consulate before traveling.
This is good news for Indian travelers who have been planning a trip to Thailand. With the visa-free entry waiver, they will be able to save time and money on the visa application process.
