Drug Disposal Committee (DDC) of Chandigarh Police under the Chairmanship of Ketan Bansal, IPS, SP/HQ & Crime constituted by Worthy Director General of Police, UT, Chandigarh disposed-of the contraband drugs of 91 NDPS cases of 14 Police Stations, PS-3, 11, 17, Sarangpur, 19, Mani Majra, IT Park, Mauli Jagran, 31, 34, 36, 39, 49 and PS-Maloya of Chandigarh Police. This contraband drugs i.e., Heroin, Charas, Puppy Husk, Ganja, Ice & Cocaine were seized at the time of registration of NDPS case. On 12.12.2023, during the pre-drug disposal meeting, after checking the contraband drugs / muds and documents of 91 NDPS Act cases, Drug Disposal Committee (DDC) found it fit for disposal and same disposed-of by adopting all legal process.
The drugs disposed-of at Punjab Chemical & Crop Protection, Dera Bassi, Mohali, Punjab through Incinerator installed in the firm. The mandatory drug disposal process requirements complied with by the Drug Disposal Committee (DDC). The name and quantity of drugs which disposed-of during this process is as under:-
