Akali Dal, Cong neglected Bathinda , Punjab: Parampal Kaur
The Voice of Chandigarh: BJP candidate from Bathinda and retired IAS officer Parampal Kaur Sidhu during her election campaigns at various locations said that for decades, Akali Dal and Congress have neglected Bathinda and Punjab.
“They didn’t develop and indulge the youth in addiction. That’s why today, Akali Dal is on the verge of extinction in Punjab. PM Narendra Modi and the BJP have given Bathinda AIIMS. They’ve spread a network of roads in Punjab. With respect to Sikhs, the Shri Kartarpur Sahib Corridor was built. By bringing the holy Shri Guru Granth Sahib from Afghanistan, the Narendra Modi government has proved that it understands the sentiments of every Sikh. BJP will create a new Bathinda.”
Parampal conducted extensive campaigning in all assembly segments of the parliamentary constituency. She arrived in Pratap Nagar, where she targeted Congress and Akali Dal.
She said,” In 50 years, no development has happened in Bathinda and Punjab. Roads weren’t even built. They pushed the youth into the addiction to vote bank politics. After the BJP government came to power in the centre, Bathinda got AIIMS, highways, and a central university.”
“Bathinda has become close to Shri Muktsar Sahib, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, and all cities with the construction of highways. A route to the holy Sikh shrine Shri Kartarpur Sahib has been established. Today, people are going to Shri Kartarpur Sahib without a visa. Bringing the holy Shri Guru Granth Sahib from Afghanistan, BJP has proven that it respects every Sikh’s emotions. The Akali Dal and Congress have only done vote bank politics. This is the reason why both have been eliminated from Punjab today. The Aam Aadmi Party came to power by deceiving people, but now everyone understands they’ve been betrayed.”
Parampal said , in this situation, people are looking towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a desire and enthusiasm. BJP will undoubtedly cross 400 seats this time. There’s a wave of BJP in Bathinda too. From farmers to traders, everyone is with the BJP.
During election campaigns, Parampal was warmly welcomed by hundreds of people in Amar Pura Basti, BJP Office Bathinda, Namdev Nagar, Arya Nagar, and more. During this time, many people, including Gurpreet Singh Malooka, BJP Urban District President Swaroop Chand Singla, Ashok Chauhan, Govind Masih, Deepak Kaloyi, Saroj Rani, and Gaurav Nidhania, were present in large numbers.
Meanwhile, under the leadership of Ms. Mahinder Kaur of Bhagwan Garh village, along with Jitendra Singh, Gurdaas Singh, Jasvir Kaur, Harpreet Kaur, and hundreds of Aam Aadmi Party workers, joined BJP.
