PHDCCI organized session on Jeena Sikho:Stay Fit & Healthy with Ayurveda
The Voice of Chandigarh: Regional Media, Sports & Entertainment Committee, PHDCCI organised an Interactive Session on JeenaSikho: Stay Fit & Healthy with Ayurveda at PHD House, Sector 31-A, Chandigarh. The primary objective of the session was to advance healthcare wellness by fostering integration between Ayurveda and mainstream healthcare, thereby bridging the gap between traditional and contemporary medical practices.
Rupesh K. Singh, Senior Member, PHDCCI while welcoming the participants, emphasized the critical importance of wellness, prevention, and holistic healing. He highlighted that the interactive session would delve into Ayurveda’s regenerative, preventive, and wellness-centered healthcare models, and explore how these can be effectively integrated with mainstream medical practices to foster healthier and more balanced lives.
Dr.Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury, Diabetes Expert delivered a comprehensive presentation on the topic “Diagnosis as Disease,” where he discussed critical health issues such as blood pressure, blood sugar, and chronic kidney disease, along with strategies to overcome them. His presentation emphasized unconventional approaches to treatment including concepts like “Time as Medicine,” “Food as Medicine,” “Zero Volt Therapy,” and “Heat as Medicine,” emphasizing the significant benefits these approaches offer for the human body. Through his insightful discourse, he aimed to challenge conventional diagnostic paradigms and offered alternative solutions to managing chronic ailments.
Acharya Manish Founder, JeenaSikhoLifecareLimited emphasized the transformative impact of integrating Ayurvedic practices into daily life through patient testimonials that demonstrated significant improvements in health and highlighted the critical role of consuming pure and nutritious food as a foundation for wellness.
Chief Guest on the occasion,Gyananand Ji Maharaj called attention to the importance of adopting Ayurvedic practices and principles for maintaining good health and leading a balanced lifestyle. He elaborated on the vital role of meditation in reducing stress, promoting mental well-being, and fostering inner peace. He also highlighted the inseparable connection between a healthy mind and a healthy body, stressing that holistic well-being is achievable through the harmonious integration of Ayurveda, meditation and mindful living.
While proposing the official Vote of Thanks, Ms. Bharti Sood, Regional Director, PHDCCI talked about the profound wisdom shared throughout the session, which has greatly enhanced the participants’ understanding of Ayurveda. She also stated the significance of detoxification, Ayurvedic diet, and nutrition, noting how these key aspects had been effectively conveyed, leaving the audience with a deeper appreciation for the benefits of integrating Ayurveda into their lives. Senior Members, PHDCCI, Supreet Singh, Amit Madaan,Nishchaiy Behl and Parv Arora were also present on the occasion.
