ADTOI Launches 14th State Chapter in Andaman & Nicobar Islands to Boost Tourism

On 10th January 2025, the Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) officially launched its 14th State Chapter in the picturesque Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The colorful ceremony took place at Lemon Tree Hotels in Port Blair and was attended by local dignitaries, stakeholders, and ADTOI members from the region.
The event was graced by key representatives from the ADTOI Management Committee, including President Mr. Ved Khanna, Vice President Mr. Ashish Sehgal, and MC members Mr. Atul Singh and Mr. Vinay Ahuja. During his address, Mr. Khanna emphasized the growing popularity of the Islands as a sought-after holiday destination for mainland travelers. He also highlighted that with the launch of this new chapter, ADTOI members nationwide would work together to promote the destination more extensively.
The newly launched Chapter also announced the following local office bearers to lead the initiatives in the region:
- r. M. Vinod – Chairman, Modern Tours & Travels, Port Blair
- Mr. Vivek Singh – Secretary, Andaman World Travels Pvt. Ltd., Port Blair
- Mr. Mohammed Sajid – Treasurer, Dream Journey Holidays, Port Blair
- Mrs. Bhugneswari – Lady Entrepreneur Officer (LEO), Naveen Travel Make, Garacharma, South Andaman
The Chapter aims to collaborate closely with the Island’s Tourism Authorities to ensure the sustainable growth and promotion of tourism in the region. Additionally, there are plans to expand the Chapter’s membership base, bringing in more travel agencies to strengthen its efforts.
