
NDIM Successfully Concludes AICTE-Approved ATAL FDP on “Navigating SDGs : A Faculty Guide to Sustainability Achievement

The New Delhi Institute of Management (NDIM) successfully hosted a six-day AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Faculty Development Program (FDP) titled “Navigating SDGs: A Faculty Guide to Sustainability Achievement. This impactful online program garnered overwhelming participation from 210 academicians, research scholars, and industry professionals representing premier institutions, including IITs, IIMs, central and state universities, and leading private institutions across 22 states. The widespread participation highlights the national significance and interdisciplinary appeal of the initiative.


The program, coordinated by Dr. Teena Singh and Dr. Sharif Mohd., provided a comprehensive roadmap for integrating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into academia, research, and industry collaboration. In his keynote address, Mr. Ratnesh Jha, Executive Director, UN Global Compact Network India, emphasized the critical role of corporate responsibility in advancing sustainable development and the importance of businesses adopting responsible practices, innovation, and sustainable investments to drive SDG implementation.

Prof. V.M. Bansal, Chairman, NDIM, also contributed significantly to the discourse, elaborating on the institute’s innovative initiatives, particularly the CSR and Sustainability Internship Program, which engages students in real-world SDG-focused projects. The FDP concluded with a compelling call for enhanced collaboration among academia, industry, and policymakers, urging a collective effort to integrate sustainability into education, research, and development.

This initiative reinforces NDIM’s unwavering commitment to nurturing a sustainability-driven academic ecosystem and equipping faculty members with the necessary tools to promote and implement global development goals.
