D-BELS Concludes FINN-ED 2025: Tricity’s First Finnish Education Conclave

In a milestone event for the region’s education sector, Dass & Brown Experiential Learning School (D-BELS), in collaboration with Finland Education Hub, successfully conducted FINN-ED 2025 – a pioneering conclave that introduced the region’s first Finnish curriculum school to the Tricity.

The event held at KC Crossroad, Panchkula, showcased one of the learning pathways that the school follows in the elementary years – The Finnish Elementary Curriculum.

The event saw a number of parents and eduleaders who witnessed the innovative curriculum in action through live demonstrations in the specially created immersion center.

“FINN-ED provided parents with a unique opportunity to experience first hand why the Finnish education consistently ranks as the world’s best,” stated Ms. Riika Helena , Coordinator, Finnish Elementary School at D-BELS.

The Finnish education experts apprised the practices that make it a coveted one.

There was also a special presentation on the early years development by Dr. Ashish Agarwal, a Pediatrician at Cloudnine Hospital, Panchkula.

Another highlight was the successful launch of the Tricity Playway Association that includes all the playways from Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali.

The Early Years Education Leadership Excellence Awards saw 16 eduleaders being felicitated.

“This conclave has successfully demonstrated the importance of adopting the best learning practices to make the child future ready. The purpose is not only to develop the academic rigor but to train the students to think and act. ,” noted Ms. Anju Mehta, Principal, D BELS. “It is important to combine joyful learning with academic excellence,” she stated.

The CEO, Dr. Anirudh Gupta, set out the vision of the school and talked about the need for transformative education that makes the children future ready.
