NEW COLLECTOR RATES IN CHANDIGARH SET TO TAKE EFFECT FROM APRIL 1, 2025

The Chandigarh administration has announced the revision of collector’s rates, which will come into effect from April 1, 2025. These updated rates, which determine the minimum property valuation for transactions, are expected to impact real estate prices, stamp duty, and registration charges across the city. The revision aims to align property values with current market trends and ensure fair taxation. Property buyers, sellers, and investors are advised to review the new rates to understand their implications.
