Gurpreet Singh GP Appointed as AAP Punjab SC Wing President; Secretaries & District In-Charges Also Named

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab has announced a major reshuffle in its Scheduled Caste (SC) Wing with the appointment of Gurpreet Singh GP as the new State President. GP, who had earlier contested the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from Fatehgarh Sahib, will now lead the party’s SC outreach in Punjab.
To further strengthen its grassroots structure, the party has also named 10 State Secretaries across different zones and 28 District In-Charges to cover all 23 districts of Punjab, including rural and urban segments.

- State President (SC Wing): Gurpreet Singh GP
State Secretaries (10):
- Doaba Zone: Jarnail Nangal, Robin Kumar Sampla
- Majha Zone: Ravinder Hans, Thekedar Amarjit Singh
Malwa Zone:
- Malwa Central: Baljinder Singh Chaunda, Balour Singh
- Malwa East: Amrik Singh Bangar, Kapil Taank
- Malwa West: Gurjant Singh Sivian, Harcharan Singh Theri
District In-Charges:
Appointed for all 23 districts, with separate in-charges for rural and urban areas. Ludhiana has been further divided into three segments, taking the total number of district in-charges to 28.
This new team is expected to boost AAP’s organizational presence among Scheduled Caste communities in Punjab ahead of upcoming political challenges.
