Cricket Legend Kapil Dev Calls on Punjab Governor; Meets UTCA President Sanjay Tandon

The legendary all-rounder and former captain of the Indian cricket team, Mr. Kapil Dev, who led India to its first Cricket World Cup victory in 1983, paid a courtesy call on Sh. Gulab Chand Kataria, Governor of Punjab and Administrator, UT Chandigarh. On this occasion, Mr. Sanjay Tandon, President of the UT Cricket Association, Chandigarh, was also present.

Kapil Dev has left an indelible mark on the golden history of Indian cricket through his exemplary leadership and exceptional skills. Under his captaincy, India’s 1983 World Cup victory not only changed the course of Indian cricket but also became a historic moment of pride for the entire nation.
