SpiceJet Flight Makes Emergency Landing After Wheel Detaches Mid-Air

A major scare unfolded today when a SpiceJet Q400 aircraft operating from Kandla to Mumbai declared an emergency after one of its outer wheels detached during takeoff.
The detached wheel was spotted on the runway at Kandla soon after the aircraft became airborne. Despite the mechanical snag, the pilots maintained control and proceeded to Mumbai, where the aircraft made a safe landing with all passengers unharmed.
After touchdown, the plane taxied normally to the terminal, and passengers disembarked without incident.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the technical failure, while SpiceJet has assured full cooperation with the aviation regulator.
