Tamil Nadu Travel Expo 2025 Set to Showcase State’s Tourism Potential in Madurai

The Voice of Chandigarh:

The temple city of Madurai is gearing up to host the Tamil Nadu Travel Expo (TTE) 2025 from September 26 to 28, a grand event aimed at boosting the state’s tourism and hospitality sectors.

Organised by the Travel Club Madurai, in association with the South India Hotels and Restaurants Association (SIHRA) and CII, with support from the Tamil Nadu Tourism Department and the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, the expo is expected to be one of the largest travel trade shows in South India.

The three-day event will bring together over 200 exhibitors from the tourism and hospitality industry, including hotels, resorts, wellness centres, and hospitals. Nearly 300 domestic and international buyers from countries like Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and South Africa will participate, making it a major B2B platform for the sector.

The expo will feature an inaugural cultural evening on September 26, followed by business-to-business meetings on September 27–28. An awards night is also planned to honour outstanding contributions to the tourism industry. Additionally, hosted buyers will be taken on familiarisation tours across Tamil Nadu to explore the state’s unique offerings.

Highlighting Tamil Nadu’s strengths in heritage tourism, wellness retreats, temple circuits, and wedding destinations, the event is expected to open new avenues for investment and global collaborations.
