Special Park for Differently-Abled and Neuro Divergent Children to be Built in Chandigarh; MP Manish Tewari Directs Officials to Prepare Roadmap

With the aim of creating the city’s first-ever park equipped with special facilities for differently-abled and neuro divergent children, MP Manish Tewari held a meeting with officials of the district administration.
During the meeting, Tewari directed the officials to prepare a detailed roadmap for the construction of these facilities in a public park in the Southern Sectors of Chandigarh .Tewari stated that the proposed park in Sector 49 will be a unique project in itself. The entire cost of its construction will be borne through the MP’s local area development funds and the resources provided by the Chandigarh Administration .
He requested the concerned officials to prepare a comprehensive plan for the same.
The progress of implementation other MPLADS projects was reviewed intensively. Mr. Tewari advised the concerned officials that estimates of the MPLADS projects should be prepared in a pragmatic and authentic manner and their must be no inflation of costs
Senior Congress leader Chandramukhi Sharma was also present during the meeting and gave valuable inputs based upon his long experience of involvement in the Public affairs of the city beautiful .
