Chandigarh Vigilance Police Observes ‘Vigilance Awareness Week 2025’; Urges Citizens to Report Corruption Without Fear

The Police Station Vigilance, Chandigarh organized a series of awareness events under ‘Vigilance Awareness Week–2025’ at the Police Lines, Sector 26, Municipal Corporation Office, Sector 17, and Estate Office, Sector 17, with the participation of around 250 officials.

During the sessions, Vigilance officials highlighted the importance of integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct in public service. They also sensitized attendees about the PIDPI (Public Interest Disclosure and Protection of Informers) Resolution, urging all employees to uphold the core values of vigilance and accountability.

Participants were encouraged to make use of the 24×7 Vigilance Helpline available at Police Station Vigilance, Chandigarh, to report any instance of corruption or unethical practices.
