Chief Secretary, UT Chandigarh administers Ekta Pledge

The Chandigarh Administration celebrated Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) at the UT Secretariat to honour the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. On this occasion, H. Rajesh Prasad, IAS, Chief Secretary, UT Chandigarh, administered the Ekta Pledge to all officers and staff of the Chandigarh Administration.
The officials and staff pledged to uphold the unity, integrity, and security of the nation and to spread this message among their fellow citizens. Rashtriya Ekta Diwas is observed every year on 31st October to commemorate Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s pivotal role in unifying the nation through his vision and leadership.
Also present on the occasion were Mandeep Singh Brar, Home Secretary; Prerna Puri, Secretary Education; Swapnil M. Naik, Secretary Personnel; Anuradha Chagti, Secretary Social Welfare; Surya Chander Kant, Legal Remembrancer, and other senior officials of the Chandigarh Administration.
