TAFCA Cricket Championship 2025 Concludes Successfully in Lucknow

The TAFCA Cricket Championship 2025 was recently held at the Parth Republic Cricket Ground, Lucknow, in the loving memory of Late Mohd. Shoeb, Founder President of the Travel Agents Fun Club Association (TAFCA).
The two-day sporting event witnessed enthusiastic participation from eight teams representing leading travel and allied companies, including Akbar Travels, FSR Travels, Trip Jack, Olive Travels, Star Dream Cruises (with Yorker Holidays), Seeingo, Asego, and RDL Forex.
Championship Final
The final match of the championship was played between Akbar Travels and FSR Travels, where FSR Travels emerged victorious, defeating Akbar Travels to lift the coveted TAFCA Cricket Championship 2025 Trophy.
Individual Awards
Outstanding individual performances were recognised during the tournament:
- Player of the Tournament: Faham (Captain, Akbar Travels)
- Best Batsman: Fuzail
- Best Bowler: Anurag
- Best Fielder: Qumber
TAFCA Celebrity Cup 2025
The TAFCA Celebrity Cup 2025 was also played between the Celebrity XI, led by Mr. Vineet Nayyar (Oman Air), and the President XI, led by Mr. Gagan Gurnani. The Celebrity XI emerged victorious, defeating the President XI to win the cup.
Pride of UP Felicitation
TAFCA honoured eminent personalities from the travel fraternity with the prestigious “Pride of UP” title. The awardees included:

- Mr. Sunil Satyawakta
- Mr. Sukesh Bahadur
- Mr. Haleem Mirza
- Late Mohd. Shoeb
- Late Rizwan Warsi

Members of the TAFCA Core Committee presented each honouree with a memento and shawl, with family members receiving the awards posthumously where applicable.
Evening Celebrations & Support
The celebrations concluded with a musical night and cocktail dinner, graciously hosted by Tirun Travel Marketing – Royal Caribbean Cruises.
