In a significant development for regional cricket administration, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has appointed Rakesh Jolly, Chairman of the Cricket Advisory Committee of the UT Cricket Association (UTCA), as the match observer for the India–New Zealand T20 international to be played in Guwahati on January 25.
