The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has announced the appointment of Mr. Khajornrit Khwanmongkol as the new Director of the TAT New Delhi Office, reinforcing Thailand’s commitment to strengthening tourism ties with India and the South Asian market.

A distinguished senior executive with over 22 years of dedicated leadership at TAT, Mr. Khwanmongkol brings with him extensive expertise in international tourism marketing, destination management, and sustainable development strategies.

Throughout his illustrious career, he has played a pivotal role in translating Thailand’s national tourism policies into impactful global initiatives. His professional portfolio includes leading Thailand’s participation in prestigious international trade platforms such as ITB Berlin, Tourism EXPO Japan, and Floriade in the Netherlands, positioning Thailand as a dynamic and competitive global destination.

On the domestic front, he has significantly contributed to regional tourism growth, having served as Director of the Southern Market Division and Deputy Director for the Northeastern Region, where he successfully implemented market expansion and development strategies.

 Mr. Khwanmongkol’s leadership is defined by his strategic vision, commitment to sustainability, and dedication to enhancing Thailand’s position as a world-class tourism destination. His appointment is expected to further strengthen Thailand–India tourism cooperation and unlock new avenues for growth in one of the most dynamic outbound travel markets globally.
