Chandigarh Police Transfers 21 Inspectors in Major Administrative Reshuffle

In a significant administrative move, the Chandigarh Police has ordered the transfer and reassignment of 21 Police Inspectors with immediate effect in the interest of public service. The order was issued with the approval of the competent authority.

According to the official notification, the following Inspectors have been transferred:

Inspector Ram Dayal has been moved from SHO/PS-39 to Inspector/Admin IRB. Inspector Kulvir Kaur has been assigned as In-Charge of AHTU along with additional charge of CRU. Inspector Shadi Lal has been transferred from Vigilance to SHO/PS-34, while Inspector Asha Sharma will now serve as In-Charge PCC with additional responsibility of the High Court Monitoring Cell.

Inspector Ram Rattan has been posted as SHO/PS-26 from Police Lines, where he earlier held additional responsibilities including PO & Summon Cell and High Court Monitoring Cell. Inspector Rajiv Kumar has been transferred to SHO/PS-39, and Inspector Usha Rani has been shifted from IT Park to Police Lines.

Inspector Mini will now serve as SHO/PS-IT Park, while Inspector Hari Om Sharma has been transferred to SHO/PS-31. Inspector Rohit Kumar has been assigned to Traffic duties, and Inspector Ashok Kumar has been posted as SHO/PS-SRPP from IRBn.

Inspector Eram Rizvi has been transferred from PHQ to SHO/WPS-17, while Inspector Gyan Singh has been moved to CID. Inspector Daya Ram will continue at RTC with additional charge of RI Lines. Inspector Satinder Kumar has been shifted to Police Lines from SHO/PS-34.

Among promoted officers, Inspector Tirath Singh has been posted as Acting SHO PS-MM. Inspector Sudhir Kumar has been transferred from Photo Section to Crime Branch. Inspector Sudesh Kumar has been appointed SHO/PS-17, while Inspector Baljeet Singh has been posted to PHQ from SDPO/Central office.

Inspector Jaskaran Singh has been appointed SHO/PS-MJ, and Inspector Harbhajan Singh has been assigned charge of PO & Summon Staff along with additional responsibility of MOB Branch.

The order was issued by Manjeet, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Police Establishment Branch (PEB), on behalf of the Director General of Police, Union Territory, Chandigarh.

Officials stated that the reshuffle is aimed at improving operational efficiency and strengthening law enforcement across the city.
