Big Relief for Indian Tourists: Visa-Free Entry to Thailand for Up to 60 Days

In a major boost to international travel, Thailand has announced a visa exemption scheme for Indian tourists, making trips to the popular Southeast Asian destination easier and more affordable than ever.

Under the updated policy, Indian citizens travelling for tourism purposes will no longer require a visa to enter Thailand. The move eliminates both paperwork and visa fees, allowing travelers to enjoy a seamless entry process.

The visa-free stay is permitted for up to 60 days, offering ample time to explore Thailand’s beaches, cities, and cultural landmarks without administrative hassles.

However, travelers planning to stay beyond 60 days or those seeking entry under other visa categories will still need to apply for an e-visa through the official portal (www.thaievisa.go.th). Applicants can either complete the process independently or seek assistance from authorized representatives.

This development is expected to significantly boost travel from India, making Thailand one of the most accessible international destinations for Indian tourists.
