The Voice of Chandigarh
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann distributed appointment letters to 355 newly selected candidates, taking the total number of government jobs provided by his government to 67,037.
The Chief Minister said all recruitments have been made on the basis of merit and transparency, without political influence or corruption. He highlighted that Punjab has not witnessed a single paper leak since 2022, contrasting it with reported examination paper leaks across the country.
Mann also emphasized the government’s focus on youth empowerment through employment, education reforms, skill development, and the planned regularisation of around 65,000 contractual employees. He noted that Punjab has invested in upgrading schools, ITIs, and polytechnic institutes to improve job opportunities and reduce youth migration abroad.
Congratulating the newly recruited employees, the Chief Minister urged them to serve the public with honesty and dedication while contributing to the state’s development.
