Classic Sri Lanka, the leading Destination Management Company (DMC) of Sri Lanka in India, successfully conducted an extensive four-city roadshow across North India in association with its support partner, SriLankan Airlines.

The roadshow covered the key cities of Delhi, Chandigarh, Jalandhar, and Amritsar, bringing together leading travel professionals and tour operators to enhance their knowledge of Sri Lanka as a premier tourism destination.

The Chandigarh event was held at Hotel Novotel, where Mr. Chalaka Gajabahu, Head – Classic Sri Lanka, along with Mr. Rajiv Verma, Consultant & India Representative for Classic Sri Lanka, and Mr. Dammika, Country Head North India – SriLankan Airlines, conducted an insightful destination knowledge session.

The event witnessed the participation of around 30 leading tour operators, including industry veterans and stalwarts of the Chandigarh travel trade. The interactive session provided comprehensive information on Sri Lanka’s tourism offerings, emerging travel experiences, connectivity, hospitality infrastructure, and the services offered by Classic Sri Lanka as a trusted destination management partner.

The participating tour operators gained valuable insights into Sri Lanka’s diverse tourism products and expressed their commitment to promoting Classic Sri Lanka as their preferred DMC for the destination.
