Haryana Sports Minister Gaurav Gautam Felicitates Winning Team, Applauds UTCA’s Efforts

Haryana Minister of State for Sports, Youth Affairs and Entrepreneurship, Gaurav Gautam, graced the prize distribution ceremony of the Chandigarh Premier League (CPL), organized by the UT Cricket Association (UTCA), at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Panchkula.
The minister felicitated the winning team along with the outstanding performers of the match in the presence of UTCA Founder President Sanjay Tandon, UTCA President Saraansh Tandon, office-bearers of the association, franchise owners, and other distinguished guests.
Addressing the gathering, Gaurav Gautam appreciated the efforts of the UT Cricket Association in successfully organizing the league and providing a competitive platform for emerging cricketers from the region. He said that such professionally managed tournaments play a significant role in identifying and nurturing young talent and contribute immensely to the development of sports at the grassroots level.
Gaurav Gautam also expressed his admiration for the transformed Tau Devi Lal Stadium and said that the upgraded infrastructure and modern facilities have given the venue a completely new look. He remarked that such world-class sporting infrastructure would inspire young athletes and help promote a stronger sporting culture in the region.
UTCA Founder President Sanjay Tandon thanked the Haryana Government and the Sports Department for their continued support. He said, “The Chandigarh Premier League has emerged as an important platform for young cricketers to showcase their talent. UTCA remains committed to creating more opportunities for aspiring players and contributing to the growth of cricket in the region.”
