Champat Rai Resigns as Ram Mandir Trust General Secretary After Donation Scam Probe; Trustee Anil Mishra Also Steps Down

In a significant development, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust General Secretary Champat Rai has reportedly resigned from his post amid the ongoing investigation into alleged irregularities in Ram Mandir donations. Trustee Anil Mishra has also reportedly stepped down.

The resignations come a day after the arrest of eight accused in the alleged donation embezzlement case. The arrests were made following an FIR based on a complaint linked to the Trust and a preliminary report submitted by the Special Investigation Team (SIT).

The SIT is continuing its probe into the alleged misuse of temple donations, while the Trust has not yet issued an official statement confirming or explaining the reported resignations. The investigation is ongoing, and further developments are awaited.
