Raminder Bawa Re-Elected as President of Lions Club Solan Valley for the Third Time

In a remarkable display of confidence and trust, members of Lions Club Solan Valley have unanimously re-elected Lion Raminder Bawa as the President of the club for the third consecutive term for the Lionistic year 2026–27. His re-election reflects the members’ faith in his dedicated leadership, integrity, and commitment to community service.

The new session commenced with a Havan-Poojan ceremony, followed by a special function during which more than 25 doctors and chartered accountants were felicitated for their outstanding contributions to society. Distinguished members of the Lions fraternity and prominent citizens attended the event.

On assuming office, President Raminder Bawa expressed his gratitude to all club members for reposing their trust in him once again. He said that the position is not merely an honour but a responsibility to serve society with greater dedication. He reaffirmed his commitment to making Lions Club Solan Valley a stronger platform for humanitarian service.

As part of his vision for the new term, Bawa announced that the club will focus on meaningful and sustainable community initiatives rather than routine events. The proposed activities include:

Public awareness campaigns
Health check-up and medical camps
Blood donation drives
Environmental conservation and tree plantation
Women empowerment programmes
Youth development and leadership initiatives
Assistance to the underprivileged through service projects

He also emphasized strengthening the club’s role in education, healthcare, and social welfare while encouraging greater participation of members in community development.

President Bawa stated that true leadership is built on trust, teamwork, and service.
