General Travel New Zealand Showcases the Best of New Zealand Through Six-City India Roadshow

Relationships continue to be at the heart of the travel business, and General Travel New Zealand’s latest India roadshow reflected exactly that. Bringing together an extensive delegation of tourism partners from New Zealand, the six-city initiative created opportunities for meaningful conversations, product updates, and stronger trade partnerships across India’s key outbound markets. Travelling across Mumbai, Delhi, Chandigarh, Indore, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad, the delegation interacted with more than 350+ travel planners and tour operators, creating a platform focused on business development, product education, and long-term partnerships.
The roadshow reflected the growing participation of New Zealand’s tourism suppliers in engaging directly with the Indian travel trade. Bringing together diverse tourism experiences under one platform, the delegation showcased the depth and variety of experiences available across New Zealand while strengthening long-standing relationships with travel professionals across India.
Joining the delegation were Air New Zealand, the country’s national carrier, alongside leading tourism partners including Entrada Travel Group, Hobbiton™ Movie Set, Polynesian Spa, Destination Queenstown and Lake Wānaka Tourism, RealNZ, RotoruaNZ, Skyline Enterprises, Sudima Hotels, Te Puia, Development West Coast, Distinction Hotels Group, Ngāi Tahu Tourism, Waimangu Volcanic Valley, Terra and Tide and General Travel’s own product Kiwiway Vacations.
The roadshow featured destination presentations, product showcases, scheduled business meetings and networking sessions, allowing Indian travel professionals to engage directly with suppliers and gain deeper insights into New Zealand’s diverse tourism offerings, ranging from luxury and self-drive holidays to Māori cultural experiences, wellness, adventure, premium accommodation and bespoke itineraries.
