A coffee table book named ‘Containment Zones: Restricting the virus’ has been launched

THE VOICE OF CHANDIGARH NEWS: A coffee table book named ‘Containment Zones: Restricting the virus’ has been launched by Hon’ble Governor of Punjab and Administrator Chandigarh in the presence of Arun Kumar Gupta, Principal Secretary Home, Vijay Namdeorao Zade, Finance Secretary, Mandip Singh Brar, Deputy Commissioner and Ruchi Singh Bedi SDM East.

The book is based on the best practices followed during the time of COVID to curb the virus and the case studies done in Bapu Dham during the first wave and Manimajra during the second wave of Covid 19. The Hon’ble Prime Minister, Narendra Modi also appreciated the work done by the Administration to curb the virus, especially in these areas.

The book showcases the steps taken by the Administration in restricting the virus. This compilation will also help and guide in the effective and efficient management of any other kind of disaster management in future.
