While speaking to Mr. H. C. Gera, Bureau Chief, The Voice of Chandigarh, Mr. Vinod Sharma said that it was a decision of the core committee to celebrate the traditional festival of Punjab instead of hosting a New Year Bash. He expressed satisfaction over the participation of a large number of members not only from the Tricity but also from Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh.

He added that the ambience chosen to enjoy the warmth of Lohri was exceptionally pleasing and perfectly suited to the occasion. Sharma expressed his heartfelt thanks to all the sponsors, especially TripJack, in association with the Centara Group of Hotels and Norwegian Cruise Line.

Sharma further said that in the future, Gala Night celebrations like this would become a regular feature, allowing members to come together and reflect a strong sense of brotherhood among themselves.
