ADTOI PARTNERING WITH JODHANA HOTELS & RESTAURANTS SOCIETY (JHARA) TO A SUCCESSRUL RAJASTHAN TOURISM & HOSPITALITY EXPO AT KASTURI ORCHID JODHPUR

ADTOI team led by its President P P Khanna participated in the Expo chaired by Maharaja Gaj Singh ji and attended by Gayatri Rathore, Pricipal Secretary (Tourism), Govt. of Rajasthan (through video conferencing)and other dignitaries from Stakeholders of Tourism Industry notably J.M. Boob, President, Jodhana Hotels & Restaurants Association with its Executive members. Expo was also attended by 250+ Exhibitors from among Hoteliers, Hospitality Professionals, Restaurateurs, Wedding Venue Owners, Wedding Planners, Travel Agents, Caterers, Vendors & Event Managers.

In his address Mr. Khanna started from highlighting the contribution of Tourism & Hospitality sector to the growth of the economy to the worst phase suffered by the sector during COVID 2019 and growing threats from climate change, degradation of eco system etc. 2022, the year of recovery in tourism & hospitality that almost returned to normalcy Domestic tourism today holds the main key in tourism & hospitality..

He described the State of Rajasthan a hub in its art, culture, heritage ,temples, .adventure, cuisine, attire with its 8 world heritage sites, palaces, forts, havelis converted in to Heritage hotels like Umaid Bhawan, Taj Lake Palace.

He also dwelled on other topics such as new Tourism policy of Rajasthan, providing to Travel/MICE Agents subsidized rates during Travel Marts, granting Tourism Industry status, implementing State rural tourism policy, film tourism policy, MICE and Wedding segment USP. At least 3 night stay in Jodhpur with added tourist attractions like para motoring, helicopter joy rides, hot air ballooning etc.

JHARA to organise Road Shows and Travel Marts on Pan India for the travel agents to make attractive itineraries besides connecting with ADTOI members to explore Jodhpur as destination. To consider the pricing/tariff of Heritage properties for domestic tourists to make Jodhpur Number one destination of Rajasthan. with mice and wedding pricing shall take jodhpur to new heights.
