Mr. P P Khanna, President of the Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI), played a pivotal role during his recent visit to Srinagar for the Jammu & Kashmir Tourism Development Workshop 2024. Invited by the Director of Tourism, Kashmir, Mr. Khanna participated as a distinguished panel member alongside esteemed colleagues Mr. Rajat Sawhney, Sr. Vice President, and Mr. Ashish Sehgal, Vice President, who attended as observers. Together, they contributed invaluable insights and recommendations aimed at formulating actionable strategies to propel the tourism sector in Jammu & Kashmir forward.
During his visit, the ADTOI J & K Chapter organized a significant General House Meeting. This gathering brought together local office bearers, members of the chapter, and prominent heads of Kashmiri associations. The agenda centered on exploring effective strategies to promote Kashmir as a premier tourist destination and to foster stronger connections with ADTOI’s nationwide membership.
The discussions were vibrant and productive, focusing on leveraging ADTOI’s extensive network to enhance tourism initiatives in the region. Mr. Khanna’s presence underscored ADTOI’s unwavering commitment to supporting Jammu & Kashmir’s tourism sector, fostering collaboration with local stakeholders, and charting a path for sustainable growth.
The workshop, held at the SKICC on 26th and 27th June 2024, served as a crucial platform for dialogue and strategizing. It reaffirmed ADTOI’s role in shaping the future of tourism in Jammu & Kashmir and cemented partnerships aimed at realizing the region’s vast potential.
