Banwarilal Purohit-Governor, Punjab & Administrator, Chandigarh advises CII to encourage Exchange programs for Artists

Coinciding with Annual Session, a Session on Arts and Culture: An Integral Element in Socio- Economic Development was organized. Sharing his thoughts on Arts and Culture here today, Banwarilal Purohit-Governor, Punjab & Administrator, U T Chandigarh said, “CII should focus on interstate exchange of artists, it will not only help in enriching the Arts but also have a socio-economic benefit”.

Speaking on the occasion Mr Chakresh Kumar, Director Tagore Theatre, Chandigarh shares his vision for this cultural hub of tricity.

Speaking on the holistic development of Chandigarh here today, Deepika Gandhi, Associate Professor, Chandigarh College of Architecture said, “The city need to have dedicated policies on Tourism, Public Art and culture as it will help to strength the Arts & Culture ecosystem in Chandigarh”.
