After stellar show of Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab Assembly Elections, the CM-elect Bhagwant Mann reached Delhi to meet AAP National Convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. In a meeting at the residence of Arvind Kejriwal, Bhagwant Mann was joined by Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Punjab affairs co-in-charge Raghav Chadha.
AAP leaders shared their rejoice over their party’s historic huge triumph in Punjab where they bagged 92 seats out of 117 to form the government in the state. In the meeting it was decided that Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal will reach ‘Guru ki Nagri’ Amritsar on March 13th to pay their obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib, Durgiana Mandir and Sri Ram Tirath Mandir and to thank Waheguru for this success. Bhagwant Mann will seek blessings of God before taking his responsibility as the Chief Minister of Punjab. After that AAP national convener and Punjab President will conduct a road show in Amritsar to celebrate their victory among people and to thank the voters.
Bhagwant Mann will take oath as the Chief Minister of the state on March 16th at Khatkar Kalan, ancestral village of freedom fighter Shaheed-e-Azam S. Bhagat Singh. Mann registered victory with a huge margin of 58,206 votes from Dhuri and announced from the terrace of house that the oath-swearing ceremony will be held in Khatkar Kalan of Nawanshahr district. Bhagwant Mann invited national convener Arvind Kejriwal for his swearing-in ceremony on March 16th as Aam Aadmi Party’s first Chief Minister of Punjab.
