CBM Appreciates Bold and Quick Initiatives towards working of Traffic Police taken up by New DGP

The sole apex body of traders of Chandigarh, appreciated and endorsed the bold and quick initiative of the new Director General of Police (DGP)
A delegation of senior functionaries of CBM led by Sanjiv Chadha (President), Charanjiv Singh (Chairman), Diwakar Sahoonja (Vice Chairman), Baljinder Singh (Vice President), Naresh Mahajan (General Secretary), and Radhey Lal Bajaj (Finance Secretary) met the new DGP S P Hooda IPS, welcoming him on behalf of the traders of the city. They highly appreciated his quick reforms in the working of the traffic police.
Sanjiv Chadha, President, informed the new DGP that there has already been a substantial increase in commerce in the city after the withdrawal of deterrent challaning by the traffic police of all outside vehicles coming into the city. President Sanjiv Chadha presented a flower bouquet of welcome to the DGP on behalf of traders of city. Diwakar Sahoonja said that the city was fortunate to have a local and upright officer like DGP S P Hooda IPS to head the Chandigarh police.
Charanjiv Singh,Chairman CBM requested improvement in Beat Box, Baljinder Gujral took up the chronic parking problem being faced by traders of Keshoram Complex EC 45, and the officer promised early resolution on priority.
The delegation assured full cooperation and support to all commerce-friendly steps towards better law and order as well as smoother traffic being taken up by the new DGP now and in future.
