Chandigarh Administration Launches Vigilance Awareness Week with Integrity Pledge Ceremony

In compliance with the recommendations of the Central Vigilance Commission, the Chandigarh Administration inaugurated Vigilance Awareness Week on October 28, 2024, with an oath ceremony. This year’s theme is “Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity.”

The week aims to raise awareness and promote ethics and transparency in governance and public administration. During the ceremony, officials from the UT Secretariat took the Integrity Pledge, committing to the highest standards of honesty and integrity in their efforts to combat corruption.

Notable attendees included Adviser to the Administrator, Rajeev Verma, along with Mandip Singh Brar (Home Secretary), Prerna Puri (Secretary Education), Ajay Chagti (Secretary Personnel), and Abhijit Chaudhari (Secretary Vigilance). This initiative reflects a collective commitment to fostering a culture of integrity within the administration.
