Chandigarh Business Council Announces New Executive Body: Neeraj Bajaj as Chief Patron, Jagdish Arora as Chairman, Sanjay Pahwa as General Secretary

The Chandigarh Business Council (CBC) has announced the formation of its new executive body, marking a significant step towards strengthening its organizational framework and enhancing its role in the regional business ecosystem.

Ajay Gupta, the newly elected President of CBC, formally unveiled the new team, underscoring the council’s commitment to effective governance and a progressive vision.
The newly constituted leadership features Neeraj Bajaj as Chief Patron and Jagdish Arora as Chairman. A distinguished panel of Chief Advisors has also been appointed, comprising Sat Paul Bansal, Chander Verma, Subhash Sethi, Sat Pal Garg, and Baldev Goel, all of whom bring extensive experience and strategic insight.

Sanjay Pahwa and JPS Kalra have been named General Secretaries, while Sukhpal Singh assumes the role of Senior Vice President. Sanjay Pahwa has also been entrusted with the charge of Media and Public Relations for the Council.

The team of Vice Presidents includes Kamal Gupta, Lucky Sahni, Balbir Singh, Parveen Gulati, Avi Bhasin, and Sunil Bansal, who will play a key role in advancing the council’s initiatives and outreach efforts.

Lakhmi Chand has been appointed Finance Secretary. The advisory board has been further strengthened with the inclusion of Arun Talwar, Sanjay Dahuja, Ashwani Khanna, and H.S. Gujral as Advisors.

In addition, several Secretaries, Joint Secretaries, and Executive Members have been appointed to ensure the smooth functioning and effective execution of the council’s programs.

Speaking on the occasion, President Ajay Gupta emphasized the importance of teamwork and collective leadership in driving the council forward. He reiterated CBC’s commitment to promoting business growth, fostering collaboration, and addressing the concerns of the business community in Chandigarh and adjoining areas.

The newly formed body aims to proactively create a dynamic platform for trade, industry, and entrepreneurship while strengthening ties across the business fraternity.
