The first Executive Body Meeting of the Chandigarh Business Council (CBC) was successfully convened with the participation of over 50 distinguished members, marking a strong beginning for the newly constituted leadership.

Prominent attendees included Jagdish Arora (Chairman), Neeraj Bajaj (Chief Patron), Sat Paul Bansal, Chander Verma, Subhash Sethi, and Sat Pal Garg (Chief Advisors), along with Sanjay Pahwa (General Secretary). The meeting also witnessed the presence of Vice Presidents Kamal Gupta, Lucky Sahni, Balbir Singh, Parveen Gulati, Avi Bhasin, and Sunil Bansal, in addition to several Secretaries, Joint Secretaries, and Executive Members.

The session commenced with a welcome address by Ajay Gupta, the newly elected President of CBC, who underscored the Council’s commitment to effective governance and a progressive vision. He emphasized the importance of teamwork and collective leadership in steering the organization toward new milestones.

Highlighting future priorities, the President reiterated CBC’s dedication to promoting business growth, fostering collaboration, and addressing the concerns of the business community across Chandigarh and adjoining regions. He also stressed the need for greater involvement of the younger generation, advocating the integration of new ideas, modern technology, and progressive thinking into the Council’s functioning.

The Chandigarh Business Council, known for its longstanding efforts toward the welfare and development of the business fraternity, views this transition as a forward-looking step. The meeting also marked the enrollment of new members, further strengthening the organization’s network and outreach.
