Marking a decade of transformative change, Chandigarh celebrated the 10th anniversary of the ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ initiative with a powerful oath-taking ceremony at the U.T. Secretariat, Sector-9. The event, a symbol of the city’s unwavering commitment to gender equality, was led by Rajiv Verma, Chief Secretary of UT Chandigarh Administration, who administered a pledge to uphold the rights of the girl child, ensure equal access to education, and foster a society that empowers every girl.
