Action against violation of orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh
A case FIR No. 179, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh against Jatin, owner of Grapho Club, SCO No. 10-A, sector-7 Chandigarh and Mohit Yadav (GM) R/O # 425, south city Zirakpur (PB) general manager of said club who opened the said club beyond the permissible time limit on the night intervening 12/13-09-2021, thus violated the orders of District Magistrate, UT, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Action against illicit liquor
Chandigarh Police arrested Vipin Kumar R/o # Village Gadhahasan, Teh. Booro P.S. Bishem Distt. Muzzafarpur Bihar and recovered 65 bottles of English liquor from his possession. (48 bottles of Blender’s pride, 12 Royal challenge, 5 bottle Royal stage) from his possession near Hotel Royal Plaza, Daria, Chandigarh on 15.09.2021. A case FIR No. 142, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Later, he bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Two arrested in Burglary case
Piyush Sharma R/o # 3210, sector-15D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away 2 Gold Rings, 1 Bed Sheet, Water Taps from his residence on 14-09-2021. Later two persons namely 1) Vishal @ Kaja (age-19 years) R/o # 2582, sector-25, Chandigarh. 2) Deepak @ Chuhiya (age-19 years) R/o # 2582, sector-25, Chandigarh have been arrested in this case. A case FIR No. 124, U/S 380, 457, added 411 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Recovery of stolen vehicle
Chandigarh Police arrested Arjun Sahota R/o # 10, Near Guga Maadi, Khuda Jassu, Chandigarh (age 19 years) from naka point near milk colony Dhanas, Chandigarh and recovered the stolen Activa Scooter No. CH-01BM-1574 from his possession on 15.09.2020 which was stolen from jurisdiction of PS-11, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 94, U/S 411 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Quarrel
A case FIR No. 177, U/S 326, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Tarun Dumra R/o #112/5A, Ground Floor, VIP Enclave, VIP Road, Zirakpur, Mohali (PB) who reported that Arjun Thakur R/o Police Society sector-51, Chandigarh and Mohit, Ashish, Lala resident not known they all beaten/ threaten to complainant near Grapho Club, sector-7, Chandigarh on the night intervening 12/13.09.2021. Complainant got injured and admitted to PGI. Investigation of the case is in progress.
One arrested under NDPS Act
Chandigarh Police arrested Vijay R/o # 719/19, BDC, sector-26 Chandigarh (Age-29 years) and recovered 450 gram ganja from his possession near EWS Flats BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 15.09.2021. A case FIR No. 178, U/S 20 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Accident
A case FIR No. 176, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Gagandeep R/O # 1455, Sector-29B, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of unknown car who sped away after hit to complainant father (pedestrian) namely Shashi bhushan (age 45 year) near TPT light point, Chandigarh. He got injured and admitted in PGI, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Arrest in Robbery
Pawan Kumar R/o # village Kapuri Godam, Distt. Allahabad (UP) alleged that Chandan Kumar R/o # Village Madaripur, Distt. Muzzafarpur Bihar (age 27 years) who tried to rob complainant on knife point near Makhan majra jungle, at Hallo majra chowk towards Panchkula road on 15-09-2021. A case FIR No. 111, U/S 393 IPC has been registered in PS-MJ, Chandigarh. Alleged person has been arrested in this case. Investigation of case is in progress.
Theft
A lady resident of sector-51, Chandigarh reported that four unknown ladies and one male person all came in white car number not confirm, and stole away complainant’s 3 gold bangles near ESIC Society sector-51/B Chandigarh on 09-09-2021. A case FIR No. 74, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 163, U/S 420 IPC & 24 Immigration Act has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of Gurcharan Singh R/o Village Dayalpra, Derabassi, SAS nagar Mohali (PB), against Pooja Mahajan, Director of I-Abroad Education Immigration, SCO No. 44,, Sector-42-C, Chandigarh, who cheated complainant of Rs. 600000/- on the pretext of providing Study Visa to his son for Canada. Action in rape case
A case FIR No. 164, U/S 376, 420 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the statement of a girl resident of Chandigarh against Nishant resident of Chandigarh who raped her in pretext to marriage. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Rinku @ Potli R/o # 1789 Sec-52, Chandigarh (Age-32 Years) and recovered one country Rifle single barrel (two piece – barrel, butt) from his possession near petrol pump sector-52, Chandigarh on 15.09.2021.
