Chandigarh police has carried out special search operations in the colonies and sectors throughout the City

In view of forthcoming “Independence Day” celebration, Chandigarh police has carried out special search operations in the colonies and sectors throughout the City.

The main purpose of these search operations and checking drives is to check the suspected persons and to get the verification of outsiders moved to Chandigarh during the last few days. Special search through Intelligence wing will also be carried out in the Hotels, Guest Houses for checking of C-form Violations.

Special search operations were carried out from 4 AM onwards at Bapu Dham Colony, Sector-26, UT, Chandigarh under the supervision of SDPO/East, DHO PS Sector-26, SHO-IA Phase-1, and Incharge/ PP-BDC Chandigarh alongwith QRT provided by Inspector Operations+ team of Crime Branch and Intelligence. In which total 81 police officials took part and during search 67 suspicious persons round up & 14 Rolls were issued and after verification they have been released. BC’s residing in the area have also been checked and found silent. During search no criminal activities came to notice.
