Chandigarh Police carried out the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign

To mark the occasion of 75 years of India’s Independence, the Government of India launched the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga campaign’ to encourage citizens to hoist the National Flag of India in their homes as a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Chandigarh Police is spreading awareness among the people about the instructions and guidelines under the Flag code of India and the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971 while hoisting the National Flag, in their respective areas.
Chandigarh Police carried out the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign in the following police Stations as under:-
- During the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign with the people of Mani Majra and during the celebration plants distributed by Police Station Manimajra, Chandigarh.
- “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign with 150 workers of different IT Companies by Police Station IT park.
- “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign with Market Welfare Association, Sector-24 and people & Students of Sector-24 in front of Police Post-24 and during the celebration School bag distributed to School Students with the help of Market Welfare Association.
- “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign with Market Welfare Association, Sector 15 Market by Police Station Sector 11, Chandigarh.
- “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign with drivers of tractor by Police Station Sector 31, Chandigarh.
- “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign with Student of DMC by Police Station Sector 36, 39 and Maloya, Chandigarh.
