Action against Gambling/satta

Chandigarh Police arrested Pardeep Kumar @ Kala R/o # 201, Gobind Vihar, Baltana (Pb) (age-41 yrs) while playing gambling and recovered cash Rs. 6370/- from his possession near Masjid, Phase-2, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh on 28-04-2023. A case FIR No. 56 U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. He was later on bailed out.  Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against violation of orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

A case FIR No. 51, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh against a lady resident of Mohali (Pb) (age-29 years) who was running immigration Company in the name of Going Abroad without license and permit and violated the orders of District Magistrate, UT, Chandigarh. Accused arrested and later on bailed out.  Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

Raja R/o # 2274, Sector-35/C, Chandigarh reported that an unknown person stole away complainant’s cash Rs. 31,700/-, aadhar card, pan card and silver bracelet from his shop after breaking the back side of the grill on 28-04-2023. A case FIR No. 114, U/S 380, 454 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh.  Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault

A case FIR No. 47, U/S 147, 148, 149, 323, 324, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh on the complaint of Raj Kumar R/o # 427, Dadu Majra Colony, Chandigarh who reported that Sahil Bread, Sweety, Noni, Zoom, Roopa, Noni Santy Kancha and 3/4 others persons, they attack on complainant with knife, slagger, bricks and sticks near Trikona Park, DMC, Chandigarh on the night intervening 25/26-04-2023. Complainant got injured and admitted to PGI. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

           A case FIR No. 38, U/S 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-Cyber Crime, Chandigarh on the complaint of Ranga Ram R/o # 202, Village- Kaimbwala, Chandigarh who reported that unknown person who cheated with complainant of Rs. 80,000/- regarding purchase of car from OLX. Investigation of the case is in progress.
