Under the guidance of Praveer Ranjan, IPS, DGP/UT, Chandigarh, Chandigarh Police has taken a great step towards the stress management & wellness of their officers / officials during long working hours by signing the Memorandum of Understanding with the Art of Living.
The MoU signing ceremony was organized at Multipurpose Hall, Police Lines, Chandigarh. Raj Kumar Singh, IPS, IGP/UT, Chandigarh was the chief guest of this function. He interacted with the participants and informed about the inclusion of this stress management program as a part of training. The MoU was exchanged between the Ketan Bansal, IPS, SP/HQrs. & Training, UT, Chandigarh and representative of the Art of Living Prasana Prabhu, Chairman, Vyakti Vikas Kendra India.
Deepak Purohit, IPS, DIGP/UT, Chandigarh, Manisha Choudhary, IPS, SSP/Traffic & Security/UT, Chandigarh, Kanwardeep Kaur, IPS, SSP/UT, Chandigarh, Mridul, IPS, SP/City, UT, Chandigarh, Shruti Arora, IPS, SP- EOW, UT, Chandigarh and team of trainers / representatives from the Art of Living were present during the function.
A short demonstration of yoga / meditation techniques was presented by Paula Mukherjee (Paulomi), Regional Director, Govt. Programs and Santosh, State Director, Govt. Programs, Vyakti Vikas Kendra India, The Art of Living. Senior Officers alongwith 125 Police Officials of Chandigarh Police joined this session.
The main objective of execution of this Memorandum of Understanding is to equip the officers/officials of Chandigarh Police with the simple and practical tools and techniques to get rid of stress, anxiety, negativity and achieve a stress free, calm, happy and peaceful mind.
