The Director General of Police, UT Chandigarh, has announced the award of DGP Commendations to distinguished police personnel (GOs/NGOs/ORs) in recognition of their exemplary service and dedication to duty.

The honours have been conferred on the eve of Independence Day 2025 (15 August 2025) in accordance with the provisions of the Standing Order. These awards celebrate the commitment, professionalism, and unwavering service of the Chandigarh Police in maintaining law and order and safeguarding the community.

This recognition reflects the continued efforts of the UT Police leadership to acknowledge and motivate officers who demonstrate outstanding performance in the line of duty.
