Chandigarh Traders Association Launches Cleanliness Campaign to Support Swachhata Initiative
The Voice of Chandigarh : In a bid to enhance the city’s cleanliness, Kamaljit Singh Panchhi, President of the Chandigarh Traders Association, has unveiled a poster promoting a cleanliness campaign aligned with the Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh’s Swachhata initiative. The campaign will take place from September 17th to October 2nd, 2024.
Panchhi has called on all Presidents of Market Welfare Associations and Residents Welfare Associations in the city to participate actively in the Swachhata hi Seva campaign. He urged members to initiate cleanliness drives within their communities to foster a sense of responsibility and teamwork.
Emphasizing the importance of individual contributions, Mr. Panchhi encouraged citizens to avoid littering and utilize dustbins, stating, “Every small act contributes significantly to our goal of securing the 1st rank in Swachh Survekshan 2024.” He also underscored the role of positive public feedback in boosting the city’s cleanliness ranking, calling on residents to engage wholeheartedly in this initiative.
As Chandigarh strives for a cleaner environment, the Chandigarh Traders Association aims to inspire collective action and awareness among all citizens.
