Chandigarh Traffic Police in collaboration with Rotary Club Chandigarh Midtown conducted a Road Safety Awareness Programme

Chandigarh Traffic Police in collaboration with Rotary Club Chandigarh Midtown conducted a Road Safety Awareness Programme at Kissan Bhawan Chowk to aware the general public particularly children and female riders/pillion riders wear a safety helmet while travelling on two-wheelers.
During this Road Safety Awareness Programme, Manisha Choudhary, IPS, SSP/Traffic & Security, Jaswinder Singh, DSP/Traffic (R&D and Road Safety), a team of Road Safety Awareness Cell (RSAC) along with Rtn Deepak Sood, Community Safety Chair, Rtn Salil Bali, Director Community Service, Rtn Sanjay Kalra, President and Rtn Anupama Jain, Secretary and other Rotarians of Rotary Club Chandigarh Midtown were present. During this road safety programme, 30 helmets were distributed to children and female riders/pillion riders.
During this road safety awareness programme, special emphasis has been given to wear safety helmet while riding on two wheelers to avoid head injury, use of mirror on two wheelers and use of seat belt by driver and passengers sitting on front and rear seats.
