Chief Minister unveiled CA Directory to mark the CAs Day

Chartered Accountants (CA) Day is celebrated across the country on July 1. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar released a CAs Directory at his residence while extending greetings to the CA fraternity. The Apex body of CAs which is passed by under act of Parliament – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Chandigarh Branch led by senior CA member and BJP Supremo CA Sanjay Tandon and Chairman CA Vishal Puri met the Chief Minister. Both appraised the CM about the functioning of their apex body ICAI and details about the profession. During the talk, the Chief Minister called upon the CA community to continue contributing to the health and wealth of the country with their utter commitment and an ethical approach. He said that the contribution of CA professionals in further strengthening the country’s economy is not only commendable but vital as well.
With a view to provide more facilities to the students studying Chartered Accountancy from every nook and corner of the North India and practicing CAs at CA Bhawan, Sector 35, the delegation demanded a place should be allotted for the Chartered Accountants Center of Excellence in Panchkula, so that new dimensions can be established in this profession. Taking cognizance of this demand, the Chief Minister said that he would soon take concrete steps to meet their demands.
Those who were present on the occasion included Vice President CA Abhishek Singh Chauhan, Secretary CA Pramod Vats, Immediate Past Chairman CA Anil Kakkar, Treasurer Vincy Chadha, SD College’s Principal Ajay Sharma and other office bearers of the ICAI, Chandigarh branch.
