The Voice of Chandigarh News : National Naturopathy Day was celebrated with pomp at Gandhi Memorial Bhawan, Chandigarh.
Chief guest Satya Pal Jain, Senior Advocate and Additional Solicitor General, Government of India and former MP, in his address said that there is natural medicine in our life. Keeping in view our needs, our ancestors have told and explained many things by associating them with religion, like Peepal plant gives maximum oxygen, so they said that it has Brahma in it, do not cut it. Women in our homes have deep knowledge of food and know what to eat with what. The most important thing is to stay connected with nature. If you take a morning walk and live a balanced life, there will be no problem in your body. The system of nature is such that it makes everything right. Our clothing should also be pure. Dr. says that cotton clothes should be used. Keeping purity in mind, Khadi and village industry items should be used in life.
Ashok Sharan Nyasi, Sarv Seva Sangh, Sevagram, Wardha, while throwing light on Naturopathy Day, said that Gandhiji played an important role in propagating naturopathy and established the Institute of Naturopathy in Pune.
Dr. Adarsh Vind, Ayurveda and Naturopathy expert, said in his statement that there are shells in every part of our body and diseases occur in the part where the shells are reduced. We have to improve our eating habits. To keep the body healthy, we have to adopt lifestyle according to nature.
Ms. Maninder Jeet Kaur, National Executive Member and Convenor, Arogya Bharti, linked naturopathy with the scriptures and gave examples from the verses of Gita and explained how our life should be. Only by coordinating the senses of our body can we keep our body completely healthy. Yoga-meditation is the first requirement of our health.
Karnail Singh ji, while thanking the chief guest and speakers for their speeches, said that naturopathy is an ancient medical system. According to this you can take good care of your health. Naturopathy is the simplest way to live life. By connecting with nature, you can remain disease free from every kind. Center in-charge Mr. Ajay Kumar expressed his gratitude to all the guests.
On this occasion, a cycle rally was organized at 7.00 am in collaboration with Cycligiri. The representatives participating in the rally had put placards with slogans related to naturopathy on bicycles so that the propagation of naturopathy in the society could be accelerated. Shri Ashok Kumar Sharan, Trustee, Sarva Seva Sangh, Sevagram, Wardha, gave information about Naturopathy Day and Naturopathy to the delegates participating in the cycle rally at Gandhi Smarak Bhawan and told them how to stay healthy by adopting Naturopathy in today’s time. And other medical methods have some side effects, but by connecting with nature with naturopathy, one can easily keep oneself free from diseases. After that, after congratulating and wishing all the delegates, the cycle rally was sent off. As per the scheduled route, the rally started from Gandhi Smarak Bhawan via Rose Garden, High Court Road and back to Sukhna Lake before concluding at Gandhi Smarak Bhawan. All the participants also visited the Gandhi Museum located at Gandhi Memorial Building.
On this occasion, Mrs. Ranjana, Mrs. Neelam, Mr. Om Prakash, Mr. Sanjay Patel, Mr. Sonu, Mr. Sohan Lal, Mr. Ramesh, students associated with Naturopathy and friends of Gandhi Smarak Bhavan along with the enlightened people of the city were present.
